How to Edit Timer Length With Click

The cursor clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the up and down arrow buttons to set the time.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor clicks the up arrow button above the time display. The time displays two minutes.

 

  • Step 3: Click the "Save" button.
    The cursor clicks the "Save" button at the bottom left of the "Edit timer" window.

 

  •  The Timer displays the edited time.

The upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window displays a time of four minutes.

 

 

How to Edit Timer Length With Keyboard

The cursor clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the time and on the keyboard type a number.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor clicks the time display. The time display reads two minutes.

 

 

  • Step 3: Click the "Save" button.
The cursor clicks the "Save" button in the bottom left of the "Edit timer" window.


  • The Timer displays the edited time.

How to Edit Timer Length With Right Click

The cursor right clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the menu that opens, click "Edit".

A menu appears below the Timer. The cursor clicks the "Edit" option in the menu.

 

  • Step 3: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the arrow buttons to set the time and click the "Save" button.
The cursor clicks the up arrow above the timer display, then clicks the "Save" button at the bottom of the "Edit timer" window.


  • The Timer displays the edited time.

The upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window displays a time of one minute.

 


How to Edit the Timer Name With Click

The cursor clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

 

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the "Timer Name" field and type any text.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor clicks the "Timer Name" field which displays the text of "One minute".

 

  • Step 3: Click the "Save" button.
The cursor clicks the "Save" button in the bottom left of the "Edit timer" window.


  • The Timer displays the updated name.

How to Edit the Timer Name With Menu

The cursor right clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the menu that opens, click "Edit".

A menu appears below the Timer. The cursor clicks the "Edit" option in the menu.

 

  • Step 3: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the "Timer Name" field, type any text, and click the "Save" button.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor clicks the "Timer Name" field which displays the text of "1 min". The cursor clicks the "Save" button at the bottom left of the "Edit timer" window.

 

  • The Timer displays the updated name.

The upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window displays the Timer Name of "1 min".

 

 

How to Edit the Timer Name With Right Click

The cursor clicks the upper left Timer in the open Windows Clock window.

 

 

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, right click the "Timer Name" field.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor right clicks the "Timer Name" field.

 

  • Step 3: In the menu that opens, click one of the following:

 -"Select All" to select the text.

A menu appears below the "Timer Name" field. The cursor clicks the "Select all" option in the menu.

 

-"Copy" to copy the text.

A menu appears below the "Timer Name" field. The cursor clicks the "Copy" option in the menu.

 

-"Cut" to cut the text.

-"Paste" to paste the text.

How to Edit the Timer Name With Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the "Timer Name" field.

In the "Edit timer" window, the cursor clicks the "Timer Name" field.

 

 

  • Step 3: On the keyboard press one of the following:

-Ctrl + A to select all the text.

-Ctrl + C to copy the text.

A graphic of the keyboard keys "Ctrl + C" appears at the top of the "Edit timer" window.

 

-Ctrl + X to cut the text.

How to Clear the Timer Name With Click

How to Clear the Timer Name With Keyboard

  • Step 1: First edit the Timer Name. Click the "Timer Name" field and on the keyboard press the Delete or Backspace key.

  • The "Timer Name" field becomes empty.

How to Start the Timer

The cursor clicks the "Start" button on the lower left of the Timer.


  • The Timer starts.
The upper left Timer starts and displays the remaining time of fifty-seven seconds.




How to Pause the Timer

The cursor clicks the "Pause" button on the lower left of the running Timer.


  • The Timer pauses.

The paused Timer displays a remaining time of fifty-two seconds.

 

 

How to Reset a Timer

The cursor clicks the "Reset" button on the lower right of the paused Timer.


  • The Timer resets back to the default state.
The Timer is no longer running nor paused, but instead resets back to the default state.



How to Add a Timer With Click

The cursor clicks the "+" or "Add new timer" button in the lower right of the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the "Add new timer" window that opens, click the arrow buttons to set the time and click the "Save" button.
In the "Add new timer" window, the cursor clicks the up arrow to set the time. The cursor clicks the "Save" button in the bottom left of the "Add new timer" window.


  • The new Timer appears in the app window.
The new Timer appears at the bottom left of the open Windows Clock window.



How to Add a Timer With Keyboard Shortcut

  • Step 2: In the "Edit timer" window that opens, click the "Delete" or trash can button.

  • The Timer disappears from the app window.
The Timer in the lower right of the Windows Clock window disappears.



How to Delete a Timer With Right Click

The cursor right clicks the Timer in the lower left of the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: In the menu that opens, click "Delete".

  • The Timer disappears from the app window.

How to Delete a Timer With Menu

The cursor clicks the "Edit timers" or pencil button in the lower right side of the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • Step 2: Click the "Delete" or trash can button on a Timer.

The cursor clicks the "Delete" or trash can button in the upper right corner of a Timer.

 

  •  Step 3: Click the "Done" or check mark button.

The cursor clicks the "Done" or check mark button in the lower right side of the open Windows Clock window.

 

  • The Timer disappears from the app window.
    The five minute Timer disappears from the Windows Clock app window.
