How to Rename a Whiteboard With Menu

  • Step 1: First open a whiteboard. Go to the upper left and click the "Untitled whiteboard" drop-down menu.

The cursor clicks the "Untitled whiteboard" drop-down menu in the upper left of the open Microsoft Whiteboard window.

 

  • Step 2: Type any text to rename the whiteboard, and click the "Rename" or check mark button.

A small window with the text field of "Board name" appears under the drop-down menu. The "Board name" field displays the text of "Example 1" and the cursor clicks the "Rename" or check mark button on the right side of the small window.



 

How to Rename a Whiteboard With "More Options"

  • Step 1: Open a whiteboard and in the upper left corner click the "My whiteboards" or house button.

The cursor clicks the "My whiteboards" or house button in the upper left of the open Microsoft Whiteboard window.

 

  • Step 2: Hover over the whiteboard and click the "More options" or "..." button.

The cursor clicks the "More options" or "..." button in the lower right side of the whiteboard preview in the open Microsoft Whiteboard window.

 

  • Step 3: In the menu that opens, click "Rename".

A menu appears above the "More options" button, and the cursor clicks the "Rename" option in the menu.

 

  • Step 4: Type any text to rename the whiteboard and click the "Rename" button.

How to Share a Whiteboard

The cursor clicks the "Share" button in the upper right of the open Microsoft Whiteboard window.

 

  • Step 2: In the window that opens, click the "Share link" option.

A small window appears below the "Share" button, and the cursor clicks the toggle switch to the right of the "Share link" text in the small window.

 

  • Step 3: Click the "Copy link" button, and paste this link in another app or program.

How to Export a Whiteboard as an Image

  • Step 1: Open a whiteboard and in the upper right click the "Settings menu" or gear button.

  • Step 2: In the menu that opens, click "Export".

How to Export a Whiteboard as a PDF

  • Step 1: First open a whiteboard and in the upper right click the "Settings menu" or gear button.

  • Step 2: In the menu that opens click "Export".

How to Export a Whiteboard as a Zip File

  • Step 1: Open a whiteboard and in the upper right click the "Settings menu" or gear button.

How to Clear All History in the Whiteboard Downloads Window

  • Step 1: First open the Whiteboards Downloads window and click the "More options" or "..." button.
  • Step 2: In the menu that opens, click "Clear all download history" and in the window that opens click "Remove all".

How to Report a Whiteboard

  • Step 1: Open a whiteboard and in the upper left click the "My whiteboards" or house button.

  • Step 2: Hover over a whiteboard and click the "More options" or "..." button.

  • Step 4: In the window that opens, click the drop-down menu to select a concern. Optionally type any text about the offensive content and click the "Report anonymously" option. Click the "Send report" button.

How to Print a Whiteboard With Print Window

A graphic of the keyboard keys "Ctrl + Shift + P" appears in the top center of the open Microsoft Whiteboard window.

 

 

  • Step 2: On the lower left side of the System Dialog window, click "More settings".

The cursor clicks the "Page order" drop-down menu in the center left of the Printing Preferences window.

 

 

  • Step 3: At the top of the Printing Preferences window that opens, click the "Paper/Quality" tab.

The cursor clicks the "Paper/Quality" tab in the upper left of the Printing Preferences window.

 

 

  • Step 4: Click the "Media" drop-down menu to select one of the options ("Plain Paper", "Heavyweight paper", "Lightweight paper", "Glossy Paper", "Photo paper", "Label", or "Envelope (plain)") and click the "OK" button.
The cursor clicks the "Media" drop-down menu in the middle of the "Paper/Quality" tab of the Printing Preferences window.
